Alex Biss is Founder and Director of Vineyard Check. He holds a BA (Hons) in Geography, an MSc with Distinction in Geographical Information Systems, and an MPhil in Polar Studies from the Scott Polar Research Institute, studying sedimentology and climate change of the last 10,000 years. He is currently in the final year of a PhD in Crop Science, specialising in cool climate viticulture, and has published several research papers in leading viticulture journals and served as a reviewer for Nature Scientific Reports.

 

Alex is also Co-Founder and Managing Editor of ESG Investing. ESG Investing is a global media platform for listed corporations and fund managers, as well as research, rating and software providers who are focused on sustainable and impact investing.
